On Purim, the balance between the externals ("Wow - he does look like a real gorilla!") and the internal ("But it is really only Shmuel!") is easy to discern. But during the year, there is a delicate interplay of what we "wear" (i.e. our choice of clothes, what we do, how we talk and the lifestyle we portray) and the reality of who we really "are" (i.e. our values, beliefs and our neshama)! In a world which seems to put so much emphasis on the "outside" - how do we discover and maintain our unique "inside"?
